Adams Street Shipping is a family-owned retail shipping, printing, and mailbox shop in downtown Saint Helena. We work with the major shipping carriers to pack and ship wine, gifts, and personal belongings for residents, wineries, and visitors. We also provide faxing, copying, scanning, and shredding services.

We are currently looking to add a new part-time member to our team. The store’s business hours are Monday through Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm, and Saturday 9:00am-1:00pm. Day-to-day duties include customer service tasks such as welcoming customers, offering assistance, answering phones, and explaining our different shipping options. Other common duties include operating cash registers, packing and organizing shipments, data entry, processing orders, stocking supplies, and sorting mail.

An ideal candidate should have general computer and typing abilities. As our main duties involve handling wine cases and bottles, an ideal candidate should also be able to lift approximately 40 pounds (a case of wine) comfortably, repeatedly throughout a day. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, an attention to detail, and a focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
